While Phase 1 Transmissions were created from a large variety of signals (first contact, audio sources, footage, recipes, blueprints...), Phase 2 mainly focuses on signals leading to treasures, facilities or wreckage on distant planets. Each Transmission is accompanied by a description of the loot it contains: junk, valuables or useful items. 1/25 will even contain a digital gem, exclusively airdropped to its owner.
