Tomi Pomo is an Argentine art director, visual artist, tattooist and designer. He has built a reputation as one of the most prestigious tattoo artists in Buenos Aires, leaving traces of his masterful lines in several top tier studios in the capital, such as the niche Local Support.The rise of Tomi to the top of Argentina´s contemporary art scene was built consistently over the last decade, as he introduced his tradermark characters into the cityscape. This universe of beings with burlesque characteristics and childish overtones, placed thoughtfully in scenes of cotidianity, creates a striking contradiction which is now familiar to the urban crowds.One of the artist's biggest projects is to carry out the art direction of the successful Buenos Aires party Linda Nene, where in addition to being a set designer, he uses the context of the party to further popularize the creatures that inhabit his imagination.
